Our mission is to reduce homelessness, provide supportive services to individuals to gain financial independence, stability, self-worth, and personal growth to gain permanent housing.
Waves of Life Transitional Housing will provide temporary housing with wrap-around services and life skill training for women, men and youth aging out of foster care. It offers assistance to this transient population, as they move from dependent, often abusive relationships, incarceration, substance/mental health disorders, life challenges into independent, self-sufficient lifestyles. Whereas emergency shelters, where people experiencing economic shock will first turn for support and only offer a limited number of days for shelter.
The furnished homes will have rooms at a reasonable rate, with shareable living space such as kitchen, bathroom, living room and office area. Each client is allowed to stay in the home as long as they are drama free, clean and sober and be an active participant of the program with a transition goal plan.
Our staff will consist of house managers, mentors, mental health therapists, substance abuse counselors, financial advisors, employment specialists, health & wellness coaches and case managers.
Waves of Life will take the holistic approach to provide support that looks at the whole person, not just their barriers. We will assist individuals to work on their physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing along with community integration.
